Kasih Community School opened in 2014, the first few years were filled with students that were in transition, new to Indonesia who had parents doing a 1-year language learning stint in Bandung, then off to other areas of Indonesia. We have now developed into a school that specializes in providing individualized education for students with learning difficulties.

We provide a warm, close-knit community with a multicultural environment. We have a unique and specifically developed Individualized Education Program. Individual assessment is conducted for each child. The results are a foundation for the teachers to develope a personalized education plan for each student. This program will ensure children, not only enjoy their daily activities and interactions in a joy-filled environment but receive advanced learning opportunities with the most appropriate individualized plan.

In order to advance our program to support children with all different ways of learning, we work  hand in hand with a psychologist, a play therapist, and occupational therapists. We modify our program to accommodate all needs, for those who have a learning difficulty or not. With the key provision of excellence in caring and reaching achievement in learning, we intentionally limit our class capacities, the student to teacher ratio is 4:1. We also have physical movement therapy time before or during each academic lesson time to improve children's learning capabilities. When the body is tired, the brain can engage more optimally.

With our holistic program, we believe in developing children to blossom creatively, academically, socially, morally and emotionally. Our unique program providing individualized education plans ensures each students has the best opportunity to achieve their highest learning potential. We strongly believe children get the attention they deserve in a combination of small class size, therapy time and individualized programs.
